Diamonds 101: Your education in diamonds
Diamonds 101
A diamond purchase is a gift of love, used to mark a special occasion. The first diamond purchase for many is the engagement ring; Diamonds 101 is a one-on-one class I teach that uses nine loose diamonds to show color, clarity and make. This class takes about one hour, but will give you the experience needed to pick a diamond for purchase.

Cut
The proportions of the diamond are the most importation. Depth percentage is the first factor for a diamond to have maximum brilliants.
Color
Diamond color is the measure of a diamond's degree of yellow or brown. Colorless is the most desired of diamond colors, with other grades exhibiting increasing degrees of tint. So... the best color (and the most expensive) is actually no color at all. Expert Tip: Color is something you have to see to understand the subtleties.
Clarity
Diamond clarity is the measure of a diamond's flaws, technically called
inclusions. Every diamond has some inclusions, even a diamond with a
flawless clarity grade -- but the inclusions in a flawless diamond are so small that they are undetectable at 10-power magnification by a trained diamond grader. All diamonds will have inclusions at higher magnifications, because you want a diamond created by nature rather than in a lab.
We usually recommend diamonds without inclusions or flaws that are visible to the naked eye. This avoids inadvertent negative feedback from friends and ensures the wonderful, lifelong enjoyment of your diamond.
Diamond Shapes
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
